Integrated marketing communications agency Greater Works! Inc. hosted a global cuisine breakfast for the press, in collaboration with commodity boards, chef ambassadors and brand manufacturers, on May 23 during the 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, at the Drake Hotel, Chicago. Among the highlights were:- savory Greek-style American lamb meatballs from the American Lamb Board,
- baked eggs tucked into toasted pita cups from the American Egg Board,
- smashed Idaho potatoes with chorizo and cheese from the Idaho Potato Commission,
- Indian Harvest quinoa and farro vegetarian sliders (pictured below, with Indian Harvest corporate chef Jason Ziobrowski),
- a refreshing California avocado and mango salad from the California Avocado Commission,
- mini fruit tarts from Dole Packaged Foods Co. and
- a cheese platter from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board that included tangy Balsamic BellaVitano, smoky Moody Blue and creamy Crescenza-Stracchino.
