National Pie Championship winners announced
The American Pie Council (APC) announced the winners of the 15th annual APC/Crisco National Pie Championships held April 24 to 26 in conjunction with the APC Great American Pie Festival.

Linda Hundt, owner of the Sweetie-licious Pie Pantry in DeWitt, Mich., won the Professional division with Tom's Cheery Cherry Cherry Berry Pie. The winner of the Amateur division was Phyllis Szymanek from Toledo, Ohio, with her Category Five Peanut Butter Pie. Carmela Crutcher of Orlando, Fla., won the Junior Chef division with her Tropical Italian Pie.
