NSF International is seeking nominations for its seventh annual Food Safety Leadership Awards (FSLA) program. Foodservice operators, manufacturers, researchers and members of academia are encouraged to submit nominations. Winners will be recognized in one of eight awards categories: education, training, equipment, design, packaging innovation, product development, research advances, system improvement and technology breakthroughs. NSF also will recognize one individual with a lifetime achievement award for significant contributions to advancing food safety. The complete guidelines are available on NSF's Web site.
The 2010 FSLA program winners will be announced at the Food Safety Summit, which will take place at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center April 12 to 14.
